Little Wedlock gallery is run by Anne Gregson and her daughter Jo Davies. The gallery features works by both Anne and Jo in a a variety of media: materials - oils, acrylic, gouache, and watercolour. Both original painting and prints are available for sale.
"We moved here really with the intention of setting up a gallery and when we saw Little Wedlock we knew we had to have it. It's everything we could want. There was a lot of work to be done first though. The house is 16th century and gorgeous; but needed a lot of restoration. We were determined to do it properly and employed a builder who had what we felt were the right 'green credentials'. He's been very careful only to use environmentally friendly materials - lime wash on the walls for instance, and renewable insulation material.
The gallery is housed in a former outbuilding which has been brought up to standard, and that's where we display our work. My paintings tend to be more abstract and dramatic. Jo prefers landscapes and has also produced a marvellous collection of flower paintings - one for each month - of flowers she grew herself. Malcolm, my husband, produces prints of most of our work and that is for sale too, along with some sculpture, crafts and Fair Trade goods.

We hope to be introducing work from other artists into the gallery, as well as running both painting and sculpture workshops. It would also be lovely to create a sculpture walk in the meadow behind, which is wonderful in summer with masses of moths and butterflies.
We have two self-catering flats here in what was the former stable block and visitors who stay in them, as well as gallery visitors, tell us how lucky we are to live here. We couldn't agree more. We're in the middle of the country, but just three miles from Tenby or the beach at Manorbier with its beautiful castle. The coastal path is no distance either of course. And I just love the sea - my feelings for it often show in my paintings.
But then there are so many wonderful places around here. Just down the roads at Gumfreston is the 12th century church of St Lawrence, which has its roots as a place of healing in the mists of Celtic history. There are three wells, the water from which has long been regarded for its healing properties. In fact, in it was analysed - by William IV's physician I believe - and he declared it equal to the waters of Tunbridge Wells! But then, I think if you're looking for rejuvenation, just being in Pembrokeshire will do it for you!"
