A delightfully small, 5-star caravan park with just eight beautifully maintained caravans - each of which has a large master bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds, to sleep four in comfort. There is a tourist information room and a small laundry with washer/dryer and ironing facilities. Guests can also enjoy their own private patio or grass areas, not overlooked by others, all set in a beautiful wooded valley.

"We moved here about seven years ago. We thought it was time for a change and it certainly was. Pembrokeshire is so very different from where we came from, away from all that hustle and bustle, it's fantastic!
White Gate Caravan Park 1
The whole idea with White Gate was to create a 'park' in the true sense of the word, somewhere for people to enjoy the peace and quiet and all the fantastic wildlife. We have bird boxes to encourage birds and even have pheasants here, which will come and eat out of your hand!

Since we've been here we've made terrific improvements, but we're very keen to develop the garden area still further for our guests to enjoy. We do what we can to look after the environment in other ways too, encouraging our guests to recycle their bottles, cans and newspapers by providing special bins and using low energy bulbs where we can.
Being only a few minutes from the start of the coast path at Amroth, we get lots of walkers of course. But there are also many lovely inland walks. There's a heritage trail called the Miner's Walk which follows the old tramway down to Wiseman's bridge for example. And just up the road are the fascinating remains of The Grove Colliery and Stepaside Iron works. This area would have been incredibly busy and noisy in Victorian times - quite the opposite of what it is today!

White Gate Caravan Park 2We're on the bus route here as well, which many of our guests use. And a lot of them bring their bikes, so we've put in a secure bike storage and washing facility.

People obviously like it here because we get something like 65% repeat business, with quite few people coming two or even three times a year! And there's an increasing number of two week holidays too, which is lovely.

People just can't get enough of Pembrokeshire it seems. And we couldn't agree more!
