Cosheston
Cosheston is part of the medieval manor of Cosheston. The village is a typical linear development surrounded by a medieval enclosed strip field system. The fields further out have been amalgamated into larger modern field systems.
The older houses in the village are mostly 19th century; Cosheston church is built on medieval foundations.
Upton Castle Gardens, which open to the public, is home to an arboretum with a collection of exotic plants.
