This painting is part of a series of works called Pembrokeshire Weather Report and works with the changing colours of the seasons and the energy that exists here.
We don’t have seasons in Cuba and so I have grown to love the variety and the emotional effect of one season transmuting into another. I find each time I look out of the door at the hillside opposite the Chapel I live in in Solva I see something different – one season so vibrant and green another season bare branches against the ever expressive skies. Sometimes sunshine, sometimes rain or even snow and often mists winding their way through the valley. As an artist and musician I couldn’t ask for anything more inspirational.
