Foel Cwmcerwyn round barrow

Situated in a stunning location on the ridge running north down from the summit of the highest peak in the Preselis, this Bronze Age barrow survives in excellent condition.

As with many of the Bronze Age sites in the Preselis there are excellent views from its location, including nearby Carn Ingli, Frenni Fawr, Foel Eryr and Foel Feddau, all of which are the locations of contemporary burial sites. If the weather is fine then the Cambrian Mountains are visible to the north-east and the Black Mountain to the east. This site is a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
