Carnalw defended enclosure
The rocky outcrop of Carnalw forms the eastern side of the defence and overlooks the interior of this Iron Age enclosure on the northern slopes of the Preselis.
A Chevaux-de-frise, a defensive feature constructed of numerous stones set upright in the ground, protected the enclosure to the south and can still be seen. The site is a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
