Templeton Congregational Chapel Cemetery

SN 114 119 The cemetery contains two war graves of servicemen from local families.

Sgt. Oliver Maurice Lewis of the Pioneer Corps was killed on January 5th, 1943.

Sgt. John Emanual McCarthy served with 460 Squadron and it was on the return flight from a bombing raid on Stuttgart that he lost his life when his Lancaster aircraft crashed in blizzard conditions near Grantham.
