Sawdern Point
Set into a hedgerow for camouflage and protection is a single-storey, brick-built WW2 ‘Night Shelter’ with a flat concrete roof.
This was used to control a 'Starfish' SF naval bombing decoy - a fire-decoy covering a wide area and intended to represent Pembroke Dock. This was used in conjunction with a light and fire display situated at East Popton (see Hundleton section) and was intended to draw bombing raids away from Pembroke Dock.
