Druidston

Between Druidston and haroldston is a large area of flat farmland where hedges have been removed.

This work was carried out during WWII to create an emergency landing area for aircraft returning to Pembrokeshire airfields.  It is thought that the airstrip - RAF Haroldston - was pressed into service on just one occasion.
