Angle Churchyard
In the centre of the village, the churchyard contains the war graves of British airmen and sailors, several Canadian airmen, one Czech airman and a sapper.
There is also the grave, without a headstone, of a Japanese sailor. He was a member of the crew of the Japanese merchant ship Hirano Maru which was torpedoed off the Pembrokeshire coast on October 4, 1918 by a German submarine. For many years afterwards anonymous donations were sent annually to the Vicar of Angle with the request that flowers be placed on this grave.
