Wolfscastle Fountain

Wolfscastle Fountain is situated on the A40, which cuts through the village.

Wolfscastle fountainThe fountain bears the following inscription in Welsh:  'ADEILADWYD Y FFYNNON HON MEWN COFFADWRIAETH AM C.G.W.E. EDWARDES, SEALYHAM. GAN EI WEDDW. BU FARW A.D. 1902' (THIS FOUNTAIN WAS BUILT IN FOND REMEMBRANCE OF C.G.W.E. EDWARDES, SEALYHAM, BY HIS WIDOW. HE DIED A.D. 1902) The fountain, once the source of water for the village, runs again; but only with the aid of an electric pump.
